What we collect
Nothing you type on this site is transmitted to us. The casino compass runs entirely in your browser: the answers you give it are used to filter the list on screen and are never sent anywhere. There is no account system, no comment system and no contact form.
Server logs
Like any website, this one is served by infrastructure that keeps standard access logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and operational purposes. Those logs are generated by the hosting and content-delivery layer rather than collected by us for analysis, and they are not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no advertising network, no remarketing pixels and no cross-site trackers. If a security or delivery cookie is set by the hosting layer, it exists to serve the page rather than to identify you across sites.
Links to casino platforms
When you follow a link to an operator you leave this site, and what happens next is governed by that operator's own privacy policy, which is worth reading before you register. Some of those links may be commercial, which means the destination can record that the visit came from here. That record is about the referral, not about you personally, and we receive no personal data back from it.
Third-party content
Pages on this site are self-contained: fonts, styles, scripts and every game thumbnail are served from this domain rather than from third-party content networks, so loading a page does not hand your IP address to an advertising or analytics provider.
Game demos
There is one deliberate exception, and it is worth stating plainly. The free game demos on this site are the games themselves, supplied by the studios that make them, so playing one loads a frame from an external gaming provider inside the page. That happens only when you press play on a specific game: the frame is created at that moment and removed again when you close it, and until then nothing about the provider is requested. While a demo is open, that provider sees the same things any site you visit sees — your IP address and browser — and may set its own cookies inside its own frame, under its own privacy policy rather than this one. Closing the demo ends it. Browsing the game library, including every thumbnail, involves no external request at all.
Children
This site is intended for adults. Platforms set their own minimum age, generally 18 and in some cases 21, and the Canadian gambling age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Québec. Nothing here is directed at children.
Your choices
Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing stored here to access, correct or delete. If you want to limit what any website can see, browser-level controls — private browsing, tracker blocking, cookie clearing — are effective and do not break anything on this site.
Who publishes this site, and how to reach us
This site is published as SocialCasino.ca. It runs no accounts, so there is no user record here to open, correct or erase. Anything you would ordinarily send to a privacy contact — a question about this policy, a correction to a page, a complaint about how the site behaves — goes to [email protected], and that is also the address to use for an access or deletion request under Canadian privacy law if you believe the description above is wrong.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever adds analytics, a form or any other data collection, this page will be updated to describe it before the feature goes live. The date at the top of the page reflects the last revision. How the site is funded and how platforms are scored are set out on the about page; the terms of use cover everything else.
